Our permanent collection represents the foundation of the Xanoriq library. These works are revisited annually as part of our core literacy program for new members joining the Medan and Jakarta hubs.

How we select.

Selection for Xanoriq is not based on popularity or sales figures. Our board of curators looks for books that challenge existing paradigms of thought or offer a unique perspective on the human condition specifically through the lens of Indonesian cultural history.

We prioritize translated works from minor languages and critical non-fiction that provides the tools for better literary analysis and internal critique.

  • Cultural Relevance
  • Narrative Resilience
  • Dialectical Value
Curation environment

"Reading is not an act of consumption, but one of architectural construction."
